Chantal Bomprezzi

She has gained experience mainly in extrajudicial advice in the areas of private IT law (electronic commerce, electronic signatures, electronic documents, electronic payments, personal data protection), new technologies (artificial intelligence, blockchain, smart contracts) and data protection.

She combines professional expertise with academic training in the same field, with a variety of publications and participation in conferences, including international ones, after pursuing a multidisciplinary English-language doctorate in Law, Science and Technology at the University of Bologna (co-tutored with the Université du Luxembourg), where she is currently a Fellow of the Alma Mater Research Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. Collaborates with various chairs and master’s courses related to Internet law. She is also a Fellow of the Italian Academy of the Internet Code, serves on the editorial board of the journal Diritto di Internet and the editorial board of the journal Diritto Mercato Tecnologia, and is an author for AgendaDigitale.eu. In the past, she also served as Councillor for Digital Agenda and Technological Innovation for the Municipality of Senigallia (AN).
